Property Industry Remuneration Review


Purpose

Hart Consulting Group has developed the Property Industry Remuneration Review based on research that indicates that remuneration levels vary dramatically between owners, developers, facility managers, real estate companies and fund management organisations within the property industry. We are finding a range of organisations remunerating personnel higher than others based on accountability and the breadth of the position rather than on the size of the portfolio.

The survey provides organisations with a comprehensive analysis of remuneration levels and examines the size for each job role. The survey is designed to cover a cross section of the property industry including the main job families as outlined below. These include asset managers, property developers, property consultants and property managers.

In addition to providing pay levels for the position coverage, we will be surveying the design principles and practices of the incentive schemes. The types of issues we will cover include the level of incentives both actual and opportunities, the performance measures and other factors influencing incentive plan design. Membership

Is only available to organisations participating in the survey.
A comprehensive annual report highlighting salary levels, benefits and incentive/commission plans.
An analysis of the remuneration policies of participating organisations with a special emphasis on the structure and design of the incentive/commission plans used in the market today.
A telephone service where participants can obtain clarity on the data provided.

Data Collection

We have designed a simple data collection process. In this process you can provide us with your current remuneration information whilst on-line or download the questionnaires to be completed at your convenience. We can also provide you with a user-friendly and simple floppy disk as an alternative to the salary data collection. Both processes ensure complete confidentiality by providing passwords (specified by the individual user) on all questionnaires. In some instances, data collection may be conducted either by telephone or by face to face meetings.


Annual Report

Best of all the survey will provide you with a comprehensive annual report highlighting salary and policy information. The report is personalised for each participant indicating not only the results but also the issues that the organisation needs to address in reviewing its pay structure.

Participation Cost

The annual membership rate is an investment of $2,970 p.a. ($2,700 plus $270 GST)
